What are reputation Points?

I thought I would post this to help you guys out (:

When someone posts and you see a thing saying
Reputation:--- by there avatar thing. It should have
A number by it. If yours is is higher than 0 it is because someone
Has clicked the plus sign when you post. Like now, There is a plus
and a minus sign on this topic. If you were to click the plus sign
I would get one reputation point. If you clicked minus I would go down one.
You use a reputation point when someone helps you or says something kind
And you minus one If someone says something not very nice. But you can't
Give yourself one.
